Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

This policy explains what information International Eye Hospital collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only — care you receive inside the hospital is covered by our clinical record-keeping procedures.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information you choose to send us through this website, together with basic technical information that is generated automatically when any browser loads a web page.

Information you provide directly includes your name, phone number, email address, postal address, age, the service or treatment you are enquiring about, your preferred consultant and your preferred appointment date and time, plus anything you write in a free-text message.

Information collected automatically may include your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. This is standard server and analytics data and is not used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, to schedule or reschedule an appointment, to answer clinical and administrative questions, and to keep a record of the request so that our reception and clinical teams do not ask you for the same details twice.

We also use aggregated, non-identifying website statistics to understand which pages patients find useful and to improve the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated advertising profiles.

Appointment Form Data

The appointment request form on this website is an enquiry tool, not a medical record. Please do not use it to send detailed clinical history, scan reports, prescriptions or any sensitive medical information — bring those to your consultation instead.

Submitting the form does not confirm an appointment. Our team will contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email to agree a date and time. Once your appointment is created in the hospital system, your details are handled under our internal patient-records procedures rather than this website policy.

Cookies & Analytics

This website is a static informational site. It uses only the cookies and local storage strictly required to serve pages and remember basic interface preferences.

If and when we enable a website analytics tool, it will be used to measure aggregate traffic and page performance only. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to function.

Third-Party Services

Some parts of this website load content from third parties, and those providers may receive your IP address and basic request data under their own privacy policies. These currently include an embedded Google Maps location frame, web fonts, and outbound links to WhatsApp and our social media profiles.

When you click a WhatsApp or social media link you leave this website, and the messaging or social platform's own terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation. We do not control those platforms.

Data Retention

Website enquiry details are retained for as long as needed to deal with your request and to maintain a reasonable administrative record of it. Where an enquiry leads to an appointment, the relevant details are retained as part of your hospital record in line with normal medical record-keeping practice in Pakistan.

Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment are removed from our active working lists once they are no longer relevant.

Your Rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, ask us to stop contacting you, or ask us to delete website enquiry data where we are not required to keep it.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request relating to health-related information.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Appointment requests for a child should be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, who should provide their own contact details.

If you believe a child has sent us information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our website or services change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new 'Last updated' date, and it applies from the date it is posted.
